Board Expands COVID-19 Rental Assistance Program
The County Board of Supervisors voted today to expand the emergency rental assistance program for San Diegans who have suffered economic hardships due to COVID-19
State Updates
Second Application Round for Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program
- A second round of applications will open at 8:00 a.m. February 2 and will run through 6:00 p.m. February 8. Applicants for California's small-business COVID-19 Relief Grant will be notified directly by email if approved for an award, waitlisted or not selected. If not approved in the first round, eligible applications will be rolled over into the next round for consideration.

COVID-19 Training for Employers
Workplace safety and health regulations in California require employers to take steps to protect workers exposed to infectious diseases like the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), which is widespread in the community. This course provides information on COVID-19 and general guidance to protect workers and prevent the spread of this infectious disease in the workplace.
COVID-19 Training for Workers
Information for workers about COVID-19 and how to prevent its spread at the workplace. COVID-19 is considered a hazard in most workplaces because the disease is widespread in the community. Workers, including employees, volunteers, temporary workers, independent contractors, and any other types of workers, are encouraged to take this course to better understand how COVID-19 spreads, what employers are required to do to protect workers, and what everyone can do to stay safe on the job and prevent the spread of this disease.
UCSD COVID-19 Small Business Outreach Project
The Business Safety Outreach Project is a group of UCSD-affiliated students, staff, and volunteers who are helping small businesses interpret the new recommendations and requirements to open safely during the coronavirus pandemic. The business safety toolkits have valuable information that your business can use to maximize safety at the workplace.
