City Cycling Class
Learn the rules of the road and practice essential riding skills with a licensed cycling instructor. The City Cycling Class will teach road rules, where to ride, general bike safety, emergency maneuvers, legal rights, and responsibilities on the road - practicing everything through skills drills. Those skills will then be put into action through a guided road ride with the Bike Coalition.
This class is free for Solana Beach residents, but class sizes are limited so please only register if you are certain you can attend.

9am-12pm at City Hall (635 S Highway 101, Solana Beach)
You will need a bicycle (or e-bike) and helmet for this class. Make sure your bike is in good working order and ready to ride! Some cycling experience is required, as this is not a "learn-to-ride" class. This class is for community members ages 12 and up. Youth under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or designated guardian, and all youth under 18 must have a parent or guardian drop them off and sign a waiver. We highly recommend that parents/guardians take this class with their children so they can both learn the skills and road rules and hold each other accountable.
