Construction of the New Fletcher Cove Tot Lot

Please be advised that Fletcher Cove Tot Lot will be closed, and construction of the new facility will start on Wednesday, April 5. It is anticipated that construction will be completed by the end of June 2023.

The first noticeable construction activity will be the installation of construction fencing and screening. Demolition of the existing playground is expected to occur during the first week of construction. Since concrete will be removed as part of the demolition process, this will be one of the noisiest components of construction. The contractor will make every effort to minimize the noise level as much as possible.

Please note that 6 parking spaces in the parking lot adjacent to the tot lot have been allocated for the contractor’s staging and working area and will not be available for public use during construction.

While the access to the beach and the rest of the park is open for public use, please avoid the construction zone and be aware of construction traffic within the parking lot.
