Marine Safety Center Improvement Project Story Pole Installation

Event Image
Date: Oct 14 , 2024

Story poles for the proposed Marine Safety Center at Fletcher Cove were installed during the week of September 23rd. These poles outline the footprint of the planned structure and mark the beginning of the project's view assessment process. The City is in the process of notifying all property owners and occupants within 300 feet of the project site with detailed information on the process, timeline, and how to participate. The City encourages anyone interested in this exciting new public safety facility to visit the site, view the proposed design, and share feedback online or via the QR code located on the signs placed at the site as we progress with the rebuilding of the lifeguard station and headquarters at Fletcher Cove.

For more information on the project, please visit the Marine Safety Center Improvement Page or contact the City of Solana Beach Engineering Department at 858.720.2470 or pw-eng@cosb.org.
