Kids Summer Day Camps (Ages 5-11)

Weekly Sessions meet Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Fletcher Cove Community Center (133 Pacific Ave) and Thursdays at La Colonia Park (715 Valley Ave).

The fee is $180/week ($234 non-residents) per child and includes activities such as beach games, swimming, arts & crafts, Library visit, games, friends, and a Thursday field trip to an exciting destination.

After-care is offered from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM ($52/week). $79/week non-residents.

Our popular “Leader in Training” program is also available this summer for 12-16 year olds for only $45/week!
 

Summer 2025 Camps

 Welcome! All Aboard!: June 16 - 20

Ahoy, campers! Get ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure as we kick off the Summer! From the moment you step into camp, you’ll feel like you’re sailing on a journey of excitement, fun, and new friendships. Enjoy nautical-themed games, art activities and more! Our Wednesday field trip will be a visit to the USS MIDWAY MUSEUM.

Animal Planet: June 23 - 27

There are the Grasslands, Jungle, Rainforest, and even our local beach that contains hundreds of animals that campers will get a chance to learn about and explore. Learn all about the crazy life of animals of all kinds with theme related crafts and discussions. Wednesday field trip this week is to SAN DIEGO NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM.

Splish Splashtacular: June 30 - July 3 (No Camp, July 4)

Welcome to the wettest week of summer! Wear your swimsuit and be prepared to get soaked! Water Bucket Brigade, rubber duck races, slip ‘n’ slide & water balloons galore are just a taste of what to expect in this wildly wet, water-filled week! Our Wednesday field trip this week is to THE WAVE WATERPARK.

Summer in Solana: July 7 - 11

Join us for a week of sun, surf and adventure as this week will immerse campers in the beautiful beachside vibes of Solana Beach, offering a mix of outdoor fun, creative activities, challenges and surf inspired games and crafts. Our Wednesday field trip will be ALGA NORTE POOL in Carlsbad.

Getting Sporty: July 14 - 18  

Summer is a great time to be outdoors and play! This camp will allow kids to experience popular sports such as soccer, football, swimming, and more. Kids will have a blast making friends, practicing sportsmanship, and working as a team. Our Wednesday field trip will be SKATEWORLD SAN DIEGO for Roller-skating.

Wave Riders: July 21-25

Catch the wave of fun as campers will take part in this action-packed week all about capturing the excitement of Summer, embracing the thrill of waves, and making memories that last a lifetime. Designed for kids who love adventure, water activities, and the energy of Summer. Activities will include water inspired games, relay races and surfboard-inspired art. Our Wednesday field trip will be to THE WAVE WATERPARK.

Ocean Discovery: July 28 -August 1

Come test your knowledge of the big body of water that we are fortunate enough to live by. Explore the ocean through beach activities, crafts, and a day of water fun at THE BIRCH AQUARIUM for our Wednesday field trip. Learn about dolphins, sharks, whales, starfish and sea cucumbers.

Cancellation Policy

There will be a $50 cancellation fee for anyone who cancels in writing prior to 30 days before the camp session begins.

No refund is given if cancelled within 29 days of the start date of the session.
