County Fair Street Banner Community Photoshoot

Get ready to show off your pet-tacular style! Our community is participating in the 2025 San Diego County Fair’s Community Banner Program, and this is your chance to be featured on a street banner displayed throughout the county.

The photoshoot will take place on Monday, February 24, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at La Colonia Community Center.

Dress up in your best pet-inspired outfit—think dog ears, kitty whiskers, or even a fun onesie—and strike a pose! Themed props will be available, but feel free to bring your own creative touch.

There’s no cost to participate, and banners will be displayed along Highway 101 and Lomas Santa Fe Drive to promote the Fair. Best of all, you get to keep your banner for free once the Fair ends!

Reserve your spot in advance by emailing kmoshki@cosb.org!  Please fill out this Photo Release Waiver and attach it in the your email to ensure you have a spot. Each participant will need a signed waiver to participate (minors require a guardian’s consent). 

Walk-ins are welcome, and waivers will be available at the photoshoot (parents must attend to sign the waiver for those under 18-years old).

Please note that while the 2025 Fair theme celebrates the special bond between humans and their pets, pets are not allowed at the photoshoot. Service animals are always welcome at the Fair, but pets will need to stay home. Instead, we encourage participants to dress up as their favorite pet for their picture!
