The #WeAllCount Point-in-Time Census (PIT) isn’t just a count – it’s an opportunity to be part of a movement determined to end homelessness in our community. For one night, we listen. We see. We connect. And the data we gather becomes the foundation for life-changing resources and services that help make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring. This isn’t just an obligation – it’s hope in action. Why Your Involvement Matters Homelessness affects all of us. By stepping up, you’re contributing to a stronger, more compassionate community where fewer people are forced to sleep outside. What You Can Expect Date: January 30, 2025 Impact: Join approximately 1,700 volunteers in an extraordinary community effort to reach every corner of San Diego County and engage with individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness. Your role will include conducting a brief survey and taking a headcount to help ensure no one is overlooked. Key Volunteer Information Morning and evening shifts are available (evening slots fill quickly!) at 45 sites across the county, with higher demand for volunteers in North County. Each volunteer must register individually, even if you're part of a group. Count sites are listed on the volunteer portal – spots fill up fast, so register soon!
