Regular Meetings of the Solana Beach City Council are held at 6:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at City Hall, 635 S. Highway 101.

The following are highlights of items at the May 2024 City Council Meetings.

  • Approved a project list for Local Streets and Roads Funding Program Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account Fiscal Year 2024/25 to be submitted to the California Transportation Commission.
     
  • Approved the Coastal Rail Trail Maintenance Fiscal Year 2024/25 Assessments, Engineer’s Report for Proceedings of the Annual Levy of Assessments and set a time and date for the Public Hearing, which will be held on June 26, 2024.
     
  • Approved the Lighting Maintenance District Engineer’s Report for Fiscal Year 2024/25, the Annual Levy and Collection of Assessments and set a time and date for the Public Hearing, which will be held on June 26, 2024.
     
  • Approved a Notice of Completion for the City Hall Exterior Painting and Stucco Repairs Project.
     
  • Approved a Time Extension for 135 S. Sierra, Applicant: Las Brisas HOA, Case No. TE23-002, and set the expiration date as February 09, 2025.
     
  • Approved a conditional modification of backfilling existing eroded gullies, installation of secondary geogrid, installation of temporary irrigation, and revegetation to the existing CUP at 255-265 Pacific Ave., Applicant: Alamo, Sivage, Stone, Case: MOD24-002.
     
  • Approved the 2025 Regional Transportation Improvement Program for Fiscal Years 2024/25 through 2028/29.
     
  • Discussed and received input for the Glencrest Sidewalk Project Update.
