Special Artist Reception: Greatly I Dream – Health, Healing, Hope, Music, & Autism

The City of Solana Beach invites the public to the opening reception of Greatly I Dream – Health, Healing, Hope, Music, & Autism, a solo exhibition by Jeremy Sicile-Kira, on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Solana Beach City Hall Gallery.
This special event will include an opportunity to meet the artist and hear about his creative process, along with a live musical performance by composer and musician Terrence Partridge. The exhibition will be on view from March 10 through April 23, 2025.
About the Exhibit
Greatly I Dream – Health, Healing, Hope, Music, & Autism showcases Jeremy Sicile-Kira’s synesthesia-informed paintings, which transform sensory experiences into vibrant visual compositions. Through color and movement, his work captures the essence of people, music, and significant life events, with a focus on themes of hope, healing, and emotional resilience.
The exhibit brings together paintings inspired by individuals who have impacted Jeremy’s life, music that evokes positive emotions, and personal experiences centered on growth and transformation. His artistic practice aims to foster healing and encourage self-empowerment.
California Arts, Culture, and Creativity Month & Autism Awareness Month
The reception takes place during California Arts, Culture, and Creativity Month (ACCM) in April, an annual statewide initiative highlighting the role of the arts in promoting community well-being. The 2025 theme, Health, Healing, Hope, aligns with the themes explored in Jeremy’s work.
April is also recognized as Autism Awareness Month, providing an opportunity to highlight the experiences and artistic contributions of autistic individuals. Jeremy’s work not only reflects his personal journey but also serves as a testament to the power of artistic expression in fostering understanding and connection.
Special Musical Performance
The reception will feature a live musical performance by Terrence Partridge, a composer and musician with experience in orchestras, musical productions, and jazz ensembles. Terrence and Jeremy first collaborated through the documentary Bass Clef Bliss: Terrence’s Path, which explores music, Autism, and the role of creative expression in navigating life’s challenges.
About Terrence Partridge
Terrence Partridge holds an A.A. in Music Studies from Mesa College and is currently pursuing a B.A. in Music Composition for Film, TV, and Games at Berklee College of Music. His compositions bring emotional depth to storytelling, making his performance a compelling addition to the reception.
