The Solana Beach Community Senior Center is committed to providing excellent resources, fostering meaningful personal relationships, and offering fulfilling growth opportunities for aging well.
The Senior Center welcomes participants from both within and outside Solana Beach. Offering a variety of programs and activities every week, both in-person and virtually through Zoom, there’s something for everyone. Wednesdays are BIG days at the Senior Center, featuring classes, discussion groups, games, entertainment, and a delicious lunch. The Senior Center is an outreach program located at Solana Beach Presbyterian Church’s Devin Hall (120 Stevens Ave, Solana Beach, CA 92075) and is open to seniors regardless of age, church affiliation, race, gender, or city of residence. Party on the Patio
Date: Sunday, September 15th, from 11:15 AM - 1:00 PM
Location: Solana Beach Presbyterian Church Outdoor Patio (120 Stevens Ave, Solana Beach, CA 92075)
Come celebrate the community in an all ages Party on the Patio. Enjoy free food, festivities, and time with friends. Come be a part of it all! Everyone is welcome, and no reservations are needed.
Belmont Village Senior Living VIP Tour
Date: Tuesday, September 17th - Departing at 11:00 AM, Returning at 2:00 PM
Location: Meet at the Senior Center for transportation - Belmont Village Senior Living is located in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, CA
Cost: $5.00 (Includes transportation, VIP tour, and lunch)
Join the Senior Center for a VIP tour of Belmont Village Senior Living. Belmont Village offers engaging daily activities and a wide spectrum of care options. Enjoy a gourmet lunch during the tour. Time: Every Wednesday - Programs starts at 11:30 AM, Lunch starts at 12:15 PM

Cost: $9 per person ($10 for to-go meals)

Fun and Games
Time: Wednesdays, at 9:30 AM
Location: Debin Hall
Join fellow seniors for games like Bridge, Scrabble, Mahjong, and more. Knitters and crocheters are also welcome! Meet in Debin Hall for a morning of fun before the Wednesday Program & Lunch. Games and crafting end at 11:20 AM, just in time for the 11:30 AM lunch program.
Memory Café
Time: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month, from 10:00 - 11:30 AM
Location: Ministry Center Hall (Parking is easiest in lot #3)

September Discussion: Wednesday, September 11th – Tom Lake by Ann Patchett
In this beautiful and moving novel about family, love, and growing up, Ann Patchett once again proves herself one of America’s finest writers. -The Guardian Tom Lake is a meditation on youthful love, married love, and the lives parents have led before their children were born. Both hopeful and elegiac, it explores what it means to be happy even when the world is falling apart.

Feeling Fit Club (FFC)
Time: Every Mondays & Wednesdays, from 8:30 - 9:30 AM
Location: Hosted via Zoom

Ginny’s Sewing Club
Time: 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month, at 10:00 AM

Silver Age Yoga
Time: Every Friday, from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Debin Hall’s lower level, Room 16
Open to all, this chair-based yoga class is designed for seniors of all ability levels. That means no mats and no getting on the floor. There are some standing postures, but these can all be done with the help of a chair if needed. This class is free, but donations are welcome to support the non-profit Silver Age Yoga organization.
Open to all on Fridays from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Debin Hall’s lower level, Room 16! Instructors, Elizabeth Young and Terri Rucker, co-lead the Silver Age Yoga class, which is designed specifically for the needs of seniors of all ability levels, this “chair only” class means no mats and no getting on the floor.
