Telling Your Story Writing Workshop

Are your relatives and friends interested in your life experiences? Would you like to capture memories on the page? It’s never too late to write your stories and share them.
Join Solana Beach Community Connections for a series of four, two-hour sessions where you’ll receive guidance and instruction by writer and teacher, Eberly Barnes, beginning Saturday, June 1 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM in a location near the Lomas Santa Fe Plaza. Class dates include June 1, 8, 22 and 29. Cost for the series is $20, registration is required, and limited to the first 12 registrants.
In each interactive session, you’ll receive suggestions for topics, share your written reflections, and discuss with classmates and the instructor in a relaxed, social setting.
The series is led by writer and teacher Eberly Barnes who currently manages a writing program for undergraduates at UC San Diego. In addition to her academic life, she has worked as a speechwriter, freelance editor, and writer. She has published memoir stories and writes a blog.
