Call for Artists Opportunities
The City and the Solana Beach Public Arts Commission are excited to offer four distinct call for artists opportunities. Each of these opportunities provides a unique way for artists to contribute to our city’s artistic landscape.
Public art is a cornerstone of Solana Beach's cultural identity, enriching our community and reflecting our vibrant spirit. Supporting public artists is crucial, and we encourage residents to help spread the word. By sharing these opportunities, we can extend our reach and support artists from across the county.

Storm Drain Beautification Project
The City has reopened the application period for the Fletcher Cove Storm Drain Beautification Project. The City invites public artists to submit proposals for a captivating grate design that will improve the structure's overall aesthetics. Please note that the artist(s) will not be responsible for manufacturing or installing the grate. Instead, the selected design will serve as a conceptual blueprint for the final product.
