Utilities & Waste Services
The City of Solana Beach does not manage billing or maintenance requests for any utility or waste services available in the City. Below you can find the correct contact information if you need to set up new services or are experiencing issues with your current service. If you have general questions about utilities in a public right-of-way you can contact someone in our Engineering Department.
- Electricity
-
Clean Energy Alliance (CEA) is the default power provider for Solana Beach bringing residents and businesses clean power at competitive rates. CEA purchases power directly from power providers and/or builds energy generation sources. SDGE&E delivers the energy, handles billing and serves customers.
Click on the link to access the Clean Energy Alliance website where you can view billing & rates information; legal documents such as the CEA budget and public meeting agendas; and other resources. You may also choose to opt out from CEA and choose SDGE to be your power provider instead.
