Junior Lifeguards Take Center Stage in the Exciting 'Sandbox Showdown' at Del Mar North Beach!

On Wednesday, July 26th, the picturesque shores of Del Mar North Beach, fondly known as Dog Beach, witnessed an action-packed and friendly competition between the Solana Beach Junior Lifeguards and their counterparts from Del Mar. This fun event brought together two talented group of young lifeguards to showcase the skills they've acquired through the program. It was a day filled with camaraderie and fun, fostering a sense of community among young lifeguards.

The day's events were nothing short of thrilling, featuring team and individual challenges such as the exhilarating run-swim-run, the competitive beach flags, and the heart-pounding rescue relay. Beyond displaying their new lifeguarding skills, the participants demonstrated essential values like sportsmanship, teamwork, and a passion for their craft.

This "Sandbox Showdown" also served as a unique opportunity for these aspiring lifeguards to create lasting bonds and form new friendships with peers from the neighboring program.
