Sewer Night Work

Please contact the City of Solana Beach Public Works Department at pw-eng@cosb.org or (858) 720-2470.The maintenance activities will take place between the hours of 9:00 PM and 4:00 AM on both Wednesday, May 31st, and Thursday, June 1st. Our dedicated team will be utilizing a high-pressure hose and vacuum truck to perform the cleaning operations in the middle of select streets. Please note that night work is necessary due to flow volumes in the lines.

While we strive to minimize disruptions as much as possible, it is important to note that there may be some noise impacts associated with the cleaning activities. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused during this time. However, please be assured that there will be no complete lane closures throughout the process. Vehicular access will be maintained at all times, ensuring minimal disruption to your daily routines.

To provide you with a clear schedule, here is an outline of the planned maintenance activities:

  • Activities: Routine cleaning of main sewer lines using a high-pressure hose and vacuum truck

• Date: Thursday, June 1st, 2023

  • Time: 9:00 PM to 4:00 AM
  • Activities: Continuation of routine cleaning of main sewer lines using a high-pressure hose and vacuum truck
