Music by Mariachi Seredata San Diego, Dance by Jaliscience Folklore Group
Once again, The Friends of the Solana beach library in conjunction with Community Connections is offering a free presentation to the community.
Friends of the Solana Beach Library invites the community to come together and enjoy the art of music and dance. On May 16th from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM the Solana Beach library will transform into a traditional Mexican countryside with an evening of fun Mariachi music by three players of “Mariachi Serenata San Diego” and dance performances from the “Jaliscience Folkloric Group”.
The Mariachis will be performing traditional Mariachi music, as well as some American favorites. The night will also include discussion about mariachi and the impact it has had on their lives, as well as mariachi education in public schools. The event will be on May 16th at 6pm at the library. It is important that we come us together to enjoy the art of music and dance.
