Draft Age-Friendly Solana Beach Action Plan Open for Public Comment
The City has partnered with AARP California, The San Diego Foundation, and San Diego State University Social Policy Institute, to engage and mobilize community organizations and residents in support of joining the AARP Network of Age-Friendly States and Communities to ensure that communities where we live are safe, livable, and better support people of all ages. These valuable Partners have helped guide our community through the Age-Friendly Network's assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation process.
After collecting surveys, analyzing data, and asking for your input, the City has put together a complete draft Age-Friendly Solana Beach Action Plan. As part of the ongoing development of this program, we invite you to review the draft plan and provide feedback/comments through March 14th. This Action Plan identifies the vision, goals, and potential actions to make the City of Solana Beach a vibrant, equitable, livable community for all ages.
