SBCC Monthly Lecture Series: "More Stories about Horseracing"

Mac McBride has been associated with the horse racing industry for over 50 years. During this time, Mac has gathered innumerable stories and plenty of insight. He's been a member of the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club media staff for almost 45 years. Last year Mac accepted an invitation from SBCC and shared anecdotes about his experiences and observations.
A native of the New York/New Jersey area, Mac graduated from Loyola University New Orleans, served a tour as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, then worked as a newspaper man, freelance writer and editor. He's been employed by several racing publications, including stints with The Morning Telegraph and Daily Racing Form. Mac and his wife, Mary, have lived in San Diego since 1977.
This presentation is part of a lecture series co-sponsorship by Solana Beach Community Connections and the City of Solana Beach Parks and Recreation Department.
