Solana Beach Schools Foundation 66th Annual Halloween Carnival
The annual Solana Vista/Skyline Halloween Carnival is back and celebrating its 66th anniversary on Sunday, October 39th, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at Solana Vista Elementary All community members are welcome and encouraged to attend even if they don't have kids at the schools. The event features games, inflatables, raffles, pony rides, petting zoo, a costume contest, and much more. There will also be food from community partners, as well as other delicious treats like tamales, hot dogs, ice cream, and a bake sale.
All proceeds from the Carnival go to support the Solana Beach Schools Foundation, a parent volunteer-led nonprofit that helps to fund the schools' amazing Discovery Labs (STREAM, Art, Technology, and supplemental PE) for all students. The Halloween Carnival is the largest fundraiser of the year for these two schools, and it plays an important part in building community and supporting these awesome classes.
Last year, the Solana Beach community raised over $58,000 in proceeds that went directly to help support enrichment classes known as Discovery Labs that our district's elementary students enjoy so much!
