Date: Apr 20 , 2023
Time: 5:30 pm
Location:
City Council Chambers

The City of Solana Beach is developing the conceptual engineering and landscape design for a small neighborhood park on approximately half an acre of the Santa Fe Irrigation District's water reservoir site on Glenmont Drive. The park will consist of meandering walkways, mild slopes for passive use, and sitting areas with benches mimicking the site's natural topography highlighting ocean views reflecting the coastal culture of Solana Beach while utilizing drought-tolerant landscaping. The design has been updated based on last year's community workshop input held in April 2022.

A second community workshop will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at City Hall. The workshop will be held in person in the City of Solana Beach City Council Chambers, which is located at 635 South Highway 101. At the workshop, the progress design will be presented and input from the community will be solicited to determine what features are desired for this neighborhood park.
